What is your question?
sometimes in 2nd or 3rd gear, engine speeds up, I let up on gas & feed, it will pick up good. checked pedal play & flushed master cyl. put car in 1st gear, brake on, fed gas & car moved forward, could not stop.

Sounds like a failing clutch but if you want to be sure, you need to "torture test" it. The way I do it is put the trans in 4th gear, not 1st. Rev the engine to about 2500 RPM and let the clutch out completely and suddenly, with the brakes on HARD and no obstacles or people in front of car. If clutch is good, engine should come to a sudden stop and stall hard with no clutch slippage. If the clutch cannot stop the engine nearly instantly, or if the engine continues to run with the clutch pedal completely released, your clutch is worn out. https://repairpal.com/estimator/hyundai/elantra
