What is your question?
I am a female with no knowledge what so ever on how to deal with vehicle problems and repairs...I fear that I get taken advantage of all the time when in comes to dealing with mechanics, so any real honest help I can find out there would be much appreciated! I have a 2003 Hyundai Elantra and have been hearing a clicking noise every time I turn my steering wheel, and a scratching noise coming from the rear of my car every time I brake...does this mean that I have to get new front CV Joint Axles and new rear Brakes? If so, how much should I be looking to spend for new/used front axles and rear brakes? Also, my air conditioning seems to only be blowing out warm air...the heater works fine, but I am getting no cool air what so ever...what could this mean, and how much should I be looking to spend to fix this problem? And lastly, how much should I be looking to spend for an oil change, a tune up, and a wheel alignment for my vehicle? Thank you for your time. Shanai

Shanai The best thing you could do is find an independent repair shop near your home. Get to know your mechanic so you are not skipping all over town looking for the best deals. As for your questions. Sounds like you have a noisy axle. Use Repairpal and look and see what that might cost. I would think around $300.00. Rear brakes? $200.00, but maybe needs rotors or drums too. Oil change $40.00 and alignment on that car $69-$89.00 Sounds like you heva neglected that poor car way too long.
