engine light is on thought it just needed tune up missing at idle but has plenty of pep when moving code po302 cylinder 2 misfire was detected so I replaced all spark plugs checked all plug wire and even put a new coil on but still misses at idle and when check engine light is reset it still shows misfire detected on number 2 cylinder and resets and stays off untill you kill engine and crank back up and light is back on what else would cause the miss car has plenty of compression and drives great someone said it could possibly be the intake manifold gasket but how? and if we cant figure it out how time consuming and costly could this be? please help as soon as possible.Thanks

A vacuum leak at the intake manifold can cause this, as well as a few other things. You first want to make sure the compression in the cylinder is OK. Here is a bunch of great info about this fault that will help: http://repairpal.com/OBD-II-Code-P0302
