Just replaced tensioners @ 44k miles. Now, I need new power steering pump.

I was really wondering if the tensioners and the power steering pump go out about the same time?

not always. tensioner may go and steering pump lasts longer or vise versa. parts are only guaranteed for limited time period. however long they last past that point is kind of sketchy. sometimes is just the pully kit and not the component.
