I have a 2013 Automatic Hyundai Accent 130000 miles. Just the other day the Tach was reading zero as I was driving. Everything about the car was normal but that. Went into store came back out and the tach was normal, It went to zero again but started working again. Like I said the car runs fine. No lights on dash to indicate any issues.
Could this be a crankshaft sensor going bad? Can they be tested?

I'd use a GDS diagnostic tool to see if tachometer output is happening at all or not.
There are a few steps in the Hyundai workshop manual that seem to tachometer function. Anything that measures engine revolutions and related wiring.
