Ok I have a 2009 Hyundai Accent and apparently This is my fourth Alternator. I replaced the battery and it was all good. So I just got another alternator put in. I hope it will be ok . Why so many alternators can go bad?? Is there a recall on the alternators for 2009 Hyundai accent?? It has 100.000 milage on it . Is there a defect or recall on the alternators?? It should not have the engine light come on.. What else if it is not the alternator?

where are you buying the alternators? do you have the new/reman alternators tested before you leave with them? why is the check engine light on,we can't possibly know that. Take the car to a parts store,autozone,advance,oreilly will check that for free,then post the code(s) here for more info. there is no recall on your alternator although your original alternator failed at some point would not be out of the ordinary. now for the other 3,are they a good quality brand alternator?
