What is your question?
I noticed the problem within the last 2-3 weeks... sometimes when I turn the car on it makes a brief squealing noise, and recently when I make a turn (not necessarily a sharp one) it squeals for quite a few seconds. I originally attributed it to wetness or the cold, but it has happened when it's dry and not too cold outside. The car has approximately 67,000 miles on it. Recently had the spark plugs replaced and a coolant flush. I was told I'd need a new timing belt in a few months. (not sure if any of that helps) Any advice is helpful. Thanks!

Sounds like a worn belt and or a belt pulley. I would have belt system checked. Not the timing belt. The timing belt is inside the engine. You should have the drive belts checked.
I had three (serpentine?) belts replaced a few months ago. Could it be one of those that was maybe defective or is there another one that I'm not aware of?
I would guess one of the belts is loose. Probably the power steering pump belt.
Do places usually charge to tighten it?
Take it back to shop that installed the new belts, they should not charge you. If you take it someplace different, they may charge you.
Great, thanks for all your help!
