What is your question?
While climbing a steep incline and accelerating, my 2005 Hyundai Accent suddenly experienced a transmission failure, as if the car had been shifted into neutral. There is no response no matter what gear it's in, but will shift into park, locking the tranny. Fluid level is good and not especially discolored. There was no noise from the tranny when if failed and does not make any noise as I move through the gears. I can't get any scanner codes yet, because I get a read error when I attach to the scanner port, but I understand I may be able to overcome that by removing the radio fuse (aftermarket radio). Any heads-up would be greatly appreciated.
What makes this problem better or worse?
The problem is constant, not affected by any action.
How long has your 2005 Hyundai Accent had this problem?
Less than 24 hrs.
