The wiring harness going to the starter has a big fat black wire like an o-ring on it where that wire go car won't start
What makes this problem better or worse?
I replaced the clutch myself at ran now won't start

I certainly can't see the wire you speak of, but wouldn't that be the wire that goes on the terminal stud of the starter motor? You could take a picture and share with a local shop -- get an opinion. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
