Problem pumping gas. Why is this happening?

I am having problems pumping gas. The gas nozzle gets triggered and turns off as if my gas tank is full but its not. This happens every time now when I pump gas and at every gas station. I have to barely press the trigger to pump gas so that it trickles out slowly.
