Have 01 accent, tranny bad. Pulled one from 02 accent with 1.6 engine. Installed. Only goes in fkn reverse now….. halp? Yard claims 99-06 accents all pair together. Read elsewhere it’s only up to 04 due to electronics. Where can I find definite specifics? I’ve been hunting for a week with no secure answer

No. They are two different transmissions for two different applications. Keep in mind: The Accent L used a 1.5L engine and the Accent GS used a 1.6L engine. There may be compatibility over the years with like engines, but not with the different models and engines.
