Hard To Shift Gears

Hello, Is this an automatic or manual transmission. If it is manual, Dallas being as cold as it is now will influence how thick the oil is in the transmission. You would notice the transmission being less responsive to shifting, but nothing should be making funny noises or grinds. If the transmission is an automatic transmission, the parking brake should be applied before the vehicle is placed in park. This will remove tension from the parking pawl, and prevent the loud "pop" when the trans shifts out of park.
