Mechanic is telling me he thinks it’s the transmission but that he is not getting any error codes. From what I have read could be a few other things not always the entire transmission please help

Please share what the symptoms are that you are having. Diagnostic trouble codes are only useful in assisting to diagnose a problem you are having. If you have no fault codes present, it just means that the problems occurring are not being measured by the processor. So - please do share what you are experiencing.
