Knock sensor bank 1 location

Hi, since you're asking about "bank 1" it seems to me a couple things: 1) you're reading a diagnostic trouble code and guessing and 2) you don't know what a bank is -- as you have an inline 5 cylinder engine with ONE BANK. As a result, I implore you to have proper testing done. Replacing a sensor may or may not fix your problem -- in fact, often not. Codes don't tell you what to fix. If it was that easy, we would not need technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles! The knock sensor, if that's really what is needed, is on the driver's side of the engine where you can't get to it unless you lift the vehicle, remove the left wheel and remove the fender liner for access.
