Will a bad key fob for a 2007 H2 cause the key itself ignition not to turn??????

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team. I would say that's doubtful; a worn key would be more likely or if your H2 has a traditional ignition cylinder, it's likely equipped with a steering lock (anti-theft device) and it may be jammed against it. You can try rotating the steering wheel both directions, with a little extra force and you should be able to feel the steering rotate away from the lock & allowing you to turn the key.
