the service air bag light

I am assuming you mean the vehicle impact air bag system. Move the seats forward and back and see if the light goes out. Sometimes it is just a loose wire harness to the seat belts. Otherwise, may be an issue with the clock spring. Need to try the seat movement first and wiggle the harnesses to the seat belts to see if this is where the issue is.
