What is your question?
The fuse # 9 ( in fuse box "B") is labeled TRL SMALL. That fuse was blown and my carry on trailer running lights would not work. I would like to know what else does that fuse protect. Also what does SMALL refer to? My Honda dealer could not answer my question and when I called Honda in California they were no help at all.
How long has your 2019 Honda Ridgeline had this problem?
Just this week.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! It sounds like the Ridgeline is re-FUSE-ing to cooperate, leaving you in a con-FUSE-ing situation! IFuse #9 in the fuse box "B," labeled "TRL SMALL," typically protects the trailer's small electrical loads, such as the running lights, which you noted were not working when the fuse was blown. The term "SMALL" likely refers to the trailer's small auxiliary loads, such as running lights, side markers, or license plate lights, which are low-power components compared to larger loads like brake lights or turn signals. This fuse is dedicated to the trailer's auxiliary lighting circuits and generally does not protect other vehicle systems. If replacing the fuse restores your trailer's running lights, the issue was likely limited to that circuit. However, if the fuse blows again, it might indicate a wiring short or an overload in the trailer's electrical system, which would require further inspection. For precise information, consulting the vehicle's wiring diagram in the service manual would be the most definitive way to understand all components protected by this fuse.
