What is your question?
Temperature gauge is reading normal. Nothing leaking on the ground. No smell in the cabin. There were no problems observed that led up to only cold air coming out of the vents. Yesterday I turned on the truck and cold air was coming out of the vents, no matter how high I set the temp. Prior to yesterday, there were no noises, knocks or anything else. I did have the coolant system flushed and refilled in August but had no problems until today. The AC worked fine in the warmer weather. The weather has been moderate this fall (50+degrees) in my area, so heater was used minimally since august. Yesterday and today, temp fell into 30s, so heat was a must. Took to dealer…they say heater core is bad. Is that even possible on a 5 year old vehicle?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Also, I'm at a Honda dealership right now. Without hands on testing, it sounds like there could be a concern with temperature blend door actuators not turning to "hot" position in the cab of the vehicle. But, since you've had a dealership test this, I have to have a modest expectation that this has been tested. I'm not sure what could be 'bad' about your heater core. Perhaps a second opinion is in order. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554. We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area.
