Recommended replacement is @ 60,000 miles, under normal driving conditions. you should consider replacing the water pump and components at timing belt replacement also. the water pump is driven by the timing belt.see link below for best prices,rockauto.com if you're a DIYér. You have an Interference engine,so you DON'T want the belt to break or severe engine damage will occur. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/honda,2012,ridgeline,3.5l+v6,1503680,engine
Hello, actually, timing belts are required at 7 years / 105,000 miles -- whichever comes first on this vehicle, or when the "minder 4" indicator illuminates on the dash. Strongly recommend Genuine Honda parts, inclusive of timing belt, drive belt, water pump, and likely the timing belt tensioner. It's not a bad idea to change your coolant while you're there also, plus your oil and filter change. The "minder 4" also says to replace spark plugs and check and adjust valve clearance. PS, I direct a Honda parts and service operation; it's kind of my daily life to know this specific stuff.
