I originally heard a knock in my front end, replaced the stabilizer bars with mooge (sp) bars because they were supposed to be the best. They only lasted a month! Brought the truck to the Honda dealer, they put on Honda stabilizer bars and could find nothing else wrong with the front end... Its only been 5 weeks and they failed again. I'm out $450 and can not afford this every month. I don't go off reading, only drive 5 miles to work everyday. Someone please suggest something because no one can tell me what is causing this. PS I baby my truck and have it check over often. My whole front suspension I have been told by three different people is in great shape including the dealer. Th dealer is going to warranty this, but can't guarantee they will the next time they go out.

I'd check the sway bar bushings. Could be the sway bar has too much play in it. Or, if the vehicle was been in a front end crash, it's possible the engine cradle is bent. Wouldn't be a bad ideal to have an alignment performed, you would then know if anything is out of alignment and causing excess stress on suspension items.
If you're not even doing any off roading at all then I would see about trading it in. I guess I was wrong when I said these trucks are meant for cities an easy drives. My Honda Ridgeline RTS 2011 had 14,000 miles on it when I bought it a year an 6 months ago.. Yes, I do a lot of driving on highway as well not. I live 60 miles from the closest city.. There is now 105722 miles on it.. I've replaced my tires 4 sets total, 3 singles, a new battery, my sway tailgate no longer opens, I just got new tires two months ago I'm already having problems, my AC barely works, my stereo an compartment under it are falling back, my windows will roll up till t reaches the top then will go back down for a number of times, I've replaced my headlights 4 times, I swear one of my rear shocks is placed wrong as well the frame isn't level, there is a knocking on the front, and when I am done driving the whole entire body sounds like it's about to fall apart. If you look from the back you can see where the top of the drivers side is separating. My engine light has been on for 7 months it read a code Honda has never heard of.. My truck is my life, but it's a death trap to me every second I'm in it, and it'll probably be the death of me..only because it all happened so fast, and after looking some things up it'd cost more money in the end to fix it.. Best of luck to you..
It was in a front end crash. Everything in the front is new. When I took it into the dealer for the new bars I had them do an oil change, rotate tires and an alignment. They told me it was fine. I will have them check the engine cradle. Would that have showed in the alignment though? Thanks for responding! Its so nice to get a fresh thought on this Also, if it makes a difference... They both go out at the same time. Drivers and passenger?
