What percentage of Ridgeline owners experience timing belt failure?
What is your question?
My Honda service center technicians have given me two different answers:
1) You should change the timing belt at 60k to avoid engine replacement.
2) I've worked here eleven years and only seen six Ridgeline belt failures.
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 2006 Honda Ridgeline. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
I get it......, a response from an auto repair shop, but what about the original question? WHAT PERCENTAGE OF HONDA RIDGELINES EXPERIENCE TIMING BELT FAILURE? With that information in hand, I can make my own decision based on odds, not recommendations from "experts" who are going to make a ton of money fixing something that "might" break. Granted, if it does (break), the damage will be catastrophic, but "change the spark plugs"......., the dang truck runs fine and the plugs are super expensive. Wow!
