My backlight on the radio turns off and my headlights are on.

There are two resisters in the radio that are poorly attached. You get various backlight problems if one or two are cracked from their connectors. The fix is to solder both ends of the resister back to bridge the cracks.... they are too tiny to be seen so just do them both. I did this a month ago and got my backlights on in my radio for the first time in years. Google to find more details, there is a good writeup on ridgelineownersclub.com. it's about a 1 hour fix total.
