I turn my car off. Pull key from ignition. ignition still acts lie there's a key

I have that same problem. My son told me to put the key back in the ignition switch. When you go to take it out, try to angle it so that when the key comes out it will pop. What it will pop is the thing that makes the car think it still has the key in it. Hope it helps.....
