Why do I get a rapid beep when I get in the car and close the door?

Check your owner's manual. It's doubtful there is anything wrong with your car since it's new. It could be a setting or feature and that would be explained in the owner's manual. Alex

The rapid beep typically occurs when you close the door of the vehicle without the smart key inside the vehicle. The vehicle sees this key as "missing" and warns you that you should not attempt to drive without the key in the vehicle. If the key is in fact in the vehicle, make sure it is not obstructed by any radio frequency interference devices -- such as a mobile phone or other device that can disrupt and shield reception.
