just started hearing tapping noise,on mornings. now getting louder it seems, like its a diesel engine when starting up. was low on oil just little. Don't see no codes or anything

Possible cam/lifter issue. Could be caused by improper oil filter, low oil pressure as well. May be something entirely different/unrelated though. I would need to see the vehicle to be accurate on the diagnosis.
