What is your question?
Does the 2010 Honda Pilot have a heater control valve? If so where is it located? I wonder if that is the solution to my no heat at the driver's side vents problem. If not then maybe I need to replace my temperature control module below the radio. Background: I've already replaced the blend doors and had the heater core flushed several times but none of it has helped.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing.
How long has your 2010 Honda Pilot had this problem?

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team. It certainly has some form of diverter valve, but it directs coolant into the heater core which supplies the heat for the cabin. As for the temperature control module, if the cooling portion works and the heat is the sole issue, it's more likely that would turn out to be an unnecessary repair. If the cabin were constantly cooled with no change according to the temperature selection at all, I would agree it could be the cause. But it sounds more like the heater core is clogged on the driver's side, I see you mentioned you've had it flushed, but those passages are ridiculously small, and ridiculously hard to clear without potentially causing a coolant leak in the cabin.
