What is your question?
These repairs are needed to pass inspection

Hello, the question "is it worth it" is always difficult to answer because there are so many factors involved. What kind of repairs are being performed? It's not unusual for a 17-year-old vehicle with probably many miles to need some significant repairs to keep it going. The question is, how many miles do you have, what are your resources as far as acquiring another vehicle that is a known good vehicle without concerns, preferably new? If you're not in a position to purchase a new vehicle, and you have extensive history with this vehicle, and you are given a pretty good synopsis as to what is required to get the vehicle back to good operating condition for a significant period of time -- then it may be a good investment to fix your current vehicle. If you have resources to purchase a new vehicle, you have many miles, and there are possible other concerns on the horizon – – then it would make sense to replace your current vehicle with a new one. Keep in mind that I never recommend replacing an aging vehicle with another aging vehicle… Because you're just asking for the same things to be coming up soon...and worse yet, you do not have first hand knowledge of vehicle history to rely on. Just food for thought. Share more info as to what is needed if it would be helpful so we can weigh in further.
