EGR temperature sensor

It sounds like the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is not working well enough. The EGR valve or its ports in the intake system could be fouled with carbon. If you remove the EGR valve you may find it full of carbon. It's worth a try to clean it. If you fix it, the code will go away eventually or you could have it cleared by someone with a scannner.
