What is your question?
My fuel gauage does not work. It always reads E & light flashes.. I was told by a shop I'd have to replace my fuel pump... About every 200 miles i automatically fill the tank. That lasts me at the most 3/4days. Could there possibly be another reason to why I'm is empying so quickly?

Well, how much fuel do you add when you fill the tank? The tank will hold just over 21 gallons. I would guess maybe you get 15 miles per gallon, perhaps more? This would mean that 300 miles is attainable on a full tank of gas. 200 miles is probably taking it down to below half a tank, above a quarter tank. Therefore, being safe, you are keeping the fuel at a level to ensure you don't go empty - totally understandable. The fuel gauge is driven by the fuel sending unit in the fuel tank. Sadly, this is indeed part of the fuel pump assembly. However, it could be that it's an electrical issue between the gauge and the pump, or that maybe the float has separated from the sending unit. Either way, accessing the fuel tank (lowering it from the vehicle) for access is required to test further.
