If you keep driving - no matter what the cause or need is - you run the risk of causing extreme engine damage if it is overheating. The initial cause of failure needs to be diagnosed and repaired so that there is no further leak. Then, the integrity of the engine will have to be checked as far as internal damage from overheating or breach of the cooling system in the lubrication system. Start with a physical inspection and pressure test if need be to determine where the leak is coming from.
