What is your question?
Bought a used 2015 Odyssey, a few month into ownership, started shaking when breaking at higher than 40 mph. My mechanic found that the front break disc was warped and replaced them. Shaking came back after 2-3 months. Replaced discs again, and shaking came back again after 3 months. Driving habits are fine (no habit of excessive and abrupt breaking). I do not want to replace the break pads and discs again, since it is very unlikely that those are at fault 2 times in a row. My mechanic looked into all reasons that are somewhat typical for causing such shaking, but he can't figure it out. Anyone has a suggestion?
What makes this problem better or worse?
breaking at higher speed worsens the skaing

Hello, the most common cause of repeated brake disc warpage -- when you've verified all is working properly in the braking system -- is either: 1) the 'new' rotors are warped already from storage or 2) The brake fluid is way overdue for replacement. Brake fluid that has not been replaced as needed every 2-3 years will overheat regularly causing excessive heat at the wheels and can result in rotor warpage. Replace the rotors with known good high quality parts. Replace all brake fluid. Also, are you towing a trailer? Do you live in very hilly area? These factors can make it even worse. Still, do what is suggested. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
