To maintain the battery, what wattage trickle charger should be used?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. It's not the wattage- it's the amperage. A good 1.5 - 2.0 amp trickle charge with automatic shut off when fully charged is more than sufficient.
