after sitting 3 hrs with no problem, on statur battery icon on dash came on and steering on turns became very difficult.
Power steering leak but no issue and reservoir full. Couls power steering pump leak cause alternator belt to become worn, and car become difficult to steer?

Hello, sounds like maybe the drive belt has started slipping or has become detached from the accessory drive.
