What is your question?

our honda odyssey touring seems to be shimming at 40 mph with low accelarating. we were told it may be the torque converter and would cost up to $1200. We have had it only 1 year. Seems to running louder than normal. But it doesn't sound like it is the exhaust the noise is coming from the engine. Any suggestions?

there was an issue with torque converters they cause a judder under light acceleration from the engine.the loudness you speak of may be a rear engine mount have that done first before a converter.your "shimmy" might just be the mount too and not the converter.do the mount first.
