I have very slow response,to no response on throttle while trying to accelerate

What is your question?

While trying to accelerate, pressing on the throttle, engine won't rev up, until you keep on pressing down then all of a sudden, engine would accelerate very hard and engine mounts would get damaged. It's like being on a race track and neutral dropping off the start line.

What makes this problem better or worse?

While driving after awhile, start to notice even more even does it in reverse.

How long has your 2005 Honda Odyssey had this problem?
