replacing wheel stud on front right hand side

Remove the wheel and brake rotor. then I usually cut off the stud with an air powered cut off wheel. If you pound it too hard with a hammer, you can bend the hub or damage the bearing. then just put in the new stud and use 2 nuts to pull it into the splined area of the Hub, then just reassemble. be sure to torque the wheel lug nuts, because most studs get ruined from being over tightened by air tools. 90 foot pounds is a good number.
