Hi - I am Dave, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Your starting problem is being caused by one of three likely causes - 1 - battery is low in charge and unable to sustain the load of engine cranking or starting. In this case, have the battery tested for state of charge and the ability to sustain a load. If it fails, replace it and recheck. If not, move forward with other possible causes. 2 - Start / stop button (if equipped) has malfunctioned A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) will likely set for this, so be sure to scan for codes. 3 - Starter Motor has failed. With a known good battery and start stop switch - verifying all cables are secure and free off corrosion - a continued starting issue may lie with the starter motor having an internal issue.
