hello code p1659 for the etcs relay, is it integrated into the car or its a relay that i can pull out, if so can you point out the location of the relay, i will attach exact photos of all 3 fuse boxes, any response is appreciated, btw it is a japanase model. the ve switched couple of the relays (the black ones), press the pedal and it still revs, the DBW fuse is good and working and the car still runs and drives but i cant go above 3,000 rpm or else the car will enter limp mode. i recently cleaned the throttle body just to rule out that as an issue, checked the coils and spark plugs and those are all good, pgm relay 1 is good because i switched that one aorund too, im thinking, i either have a electrical problem, the thorttle body is not good or i havent found the correct relay as yet. btw even when driving the car below 3k rpm, it would sometimes jerk and lose power, the check engine light would come on briefly and come back off and the car went back to normal in like half a second.

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Tell me more about this vehicle. I work and have worked with Honda dealerships for 16 years and I've never seen this. Not to say it's not possible, but I believe it's abnormal. I would want to know more about the history of the vehicle. You say it's a Japanese Fit – is this an imported vehicle not originally sold in America? What is the history of the vehicle, is there any evidence of previous damage or accident? I only ask because this is not something I've seen with normal 2015 Honda Fit's that might arrive in the repair shop for a problem. I feel like there's something more going on here with wiring or damage. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
