my car is making a clunking sound when driving. was told its the rack & pinion? what is this and what will it cost to fix?

Did a shop take a look at the vehicle and tell you this? Could also be the compliance bushings, which Hondas can wear through somewhat quickly. Be sure you know what actually needs to be replaced before throwing parts at it!
