Switching engine oil to Synthetic

What is your question?

I have Conventional engine oil I am planing to switch to Synthetic oil. If I set up computer will show me 100 % but how he will know I am using oil for 9-10,000 km? and no Conventional? If I am setting, there is no choice Conventional, or Synthetic!!! Thank you very much for answer. George Z.
