What is your question?
2015 Honda CRV -- bought used at 40,000 miles. A whining noise that increases with the speed of the car. It is always present. Uncomfortably loud by 55-60 MPH. May have been present when the car was bought -- not sure -- but certainly showed up soon after. It is NOT related to RPMs. Comes from underneath perhaps toward the rear or near rear tires. I have a great mechanic and he is stumped after repeated efforts and drives. Thanks for any help. Ron

Hi Ron, as a person who works with Honda's every day for the last 12 years or so, I can tell you that there are no "known" or common concerns regarding this with a CR-V. As a result, there are no clues to share. Thought starters would be: Tires do make noise sometimes due to wear patterns. How close have you checked the tire tread wear pattern? Is this a four wheel / all wheel drive model? Rear differentials can make noise, including the pinion bearing or other internal parts. If it is equipped, has the fluid been properly serviced -- should be done every 30,000 miles or so -- do you have maintenance history? Other than that, hands on -- ears on -- inspection is needed...be persistent...get new ears on it...and you'll find a result.
