Rust proofing for 2015 Honda CR-V

Just purchased 2015 Honda CRV EXL with approximately 94,000 miles. Bought at Dealership. Asked if underbody needed rust proofing and/or undercoating. Told me not needed. Should I get this done or go to car wash weekly to keep it clean/remove salt? Thanks for your help!

Hello, after 9 years of vehicle existence, it's hard to imagine being able to successfully undercoat the vehicle. More than likely, you'd be "sealing in" some level of corrosion. I would recommend pressure washing underneath regularly to prevent contaminant build up where possible.
