flashing light under the cd player slot when key is turned off

We had the battery replace and then noticed that when we turned the car off the light right above the cd player slot keeps flashing red. it never did that before and it isn't the anti theft area and it is constant. Does the computer need to reset this problem? If you turn on the car and put in a cd the light turns green then off when the cd plays, when you remove the cd there is no lights on and when you turn off audio all together there is no lights on but as soon as you turn the car off the light begins to flash red constantly.
