Hello, The Honda CR-V is equipped with a maintenance minder system. This is when the read out on the dash will tell you when service is due, and which services are due. The transmission fluid drain and fill service is due when the number "3" comes up on the dash (in conjunction with an "A" or "B" service). This "3" usually will come on for the first time somewhere between 25,000 - 40,000 miles typically. If someone has reset the minder lights arbitrarily without servicing need components, it could be that the "3" could have been missed. But my guess is that it will come on very soon if it is not on already.
