What is your question?
I have a 2009 Honda CRV which required a new battery. After the battery replacement, the car still wouldn't start at all (battery was brand new). The only way I could get it to start is by unplugging the plug that's located inside the car on top of the rearview mirror. I think its the security system. When unplugged, it allows the car to start and i'm able to drive, but the back facing camera, radio & navigation system do not function, nor does the automatic starter/remote.
How long has your 2009 Honda CR-V had this problem?
Since beginning of February

Hello, no, that's not a security system. However, some kind of aftermarket security device may be tapped into that circuit -- which is preventing it from starting. You'll want to look under the dashboard to see if there is an unusual looking box mounted and wires -- it is likely a device that is preventing starting. Interesting you found a way to work around it -- you've merely found an affected circuit, not the cause. Keep investigating.
