when going uphill or engine surpases 3k RPM the VSA light comes on and throttles the car to below 3k rpm or the car will shudder and reduce speed making travel on highways and interstates basically non viable Have tried oil change and replacing the VTEC solenoid with no resolve.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse when travelling uphill or going highway speeds

Hello, what testing has been performed? What trouble codes are being set in the processor? That's the first thing to check for clues. It could be that a transmission concern is present preventing performance. Too hard to guess without having information. Report back any codes set so maybe we can help more.
