What is your question?
When I got home yesterday, just before I turned off the car, I saw a red car on the dashboard. I thought it was that a door was open, but it was just the car, no doors open. What does it mean and is it safe to drive?
How long has your 2006 Honda CR-V had this problem?

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. The red car symbol on the dashboard of your CR-V is likely the vehicle's security or immobilizer system warning. This typically means the car's anti-theft system is engaged, and it might be preventing the engine from starting or recognizing the key. If everything is functioning normally and the car starts without issues, it's likely safe to drive. However, if you experience problems starting or operating the car, or if the light stays on, it may be worth having the immobilizer system checked. The light on while the car is running could indicate a failing key fob battery.
