What is your question?
My key will not turn while trying to start car. Its locked. I've tried shaking wheel back and forth while trying to turn key to start & putting a lubricant in it. Neither worked. What part would I need to fix this?
How long has your 2006 Honda CR-V had this problem?
More than a week

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. It still sounds like the key might be worn out or that the mechanism is encouraged to turn. You will also want to make sure that your transmission shifter is in the park position. If you cannot get it to turn, it will take a significant amount of time and effort to remove and replace the ignition lock cylinder by a factory trained technician. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
