It does seem a bit high. You could probably get it for a couple hundred cheaper elsewhere. I'd recommend calling around some of the local shops in your area. You can find them here http://repairpal.com/honda-repair-in-san-diego-california.

Wow, and that is parts + labor together? Hmm. Unfortunately I already bit but once I get the line items I will post so we can all sigh together.
