My overflow reservoir was empty filled up &and was empty the next day with no driving

My CRV HONDA. has 178,000 miles
It did not start on first try not normal, tryed again after few minutes started drove home 4 miles noticed heat gauge going over middle area as I pulled in driveway. Noticed inside heating was not warming up until driving. My overflow reservoir was empty filled up, next day empty again I refilled..checked next day still near top. Got on ground looked up at front nr water pump & overflow area really wet..a single spot noticed of coolant leak On ground. Have not checked my radiator yet. Inside car is heating now since filling radiator overflow heat gauge nside is normal. Do not smell coolant or anything. What is wrong? Noticed coolant bubbling up in overflow when I cut on car 2 see if it would stay in.. It did &and returned to normal level. What could it be? Thank you!!
